“Every class has a teacher that will take the time to actually get to know you and help you. You aren’t some number like in the much bigger schools,” Kevin said.
Kevin Hanuscin graduated from Neshaminy High School in 2018. His first exposure to GMercyU came from his club soccer coach, Mike Nelms, who was also GMercyU’s Men’s Soccer team assistant coach. Coach Nelms is now GMercyU’s Women’s Soccer Head Coach.
“The idea of playing sports in college is what brought me here,” Kevin said.
Kevin graduated with a degree in Computer Information Science (CIS) in 2022. He chose CIS for his love of technology.
I loved every minute in the program. It had welcoming teachers, smaller classes, and great environments to excel in what interested me.
Some of Kevin’s favorite faculty members were Professor Knorr, Dr. Casey, and Professor Sterinski.
“My favorite part about GMercyU was the fact that it was just a bigger high school experience. You get to know everyone within your first week of being there. Everyone is very friendly and there are so many ways to excel in whatever you want to achieve in life,” Kevin said.
Kevin knows that his Computer Information Science degree will open many doors.
“I really am not sure about my dream job yet, but I know it is out there waiting for me,” said Kevin.
